TEAMS: phone numbers for recordings

If phone numbers are available will depend - see below:

  • When a teams call is recorded, there is no phone numbers, Only partisipant IDs.
  • Participant IDs can only be retrieved for PSTN ( External Phone calls) and users in your tenant ( the Company that you have access too).
  • If a recording for a meeting contains users from another tenant, we will most likely never get their actual Email address if they didn’t give external tenants access to it. This will probably stay UNKNOWN then.
  • When the teams recording is completed, the recording will try and upload as quickly as possible to make it available. The Call details will not be available yet.
  • Call details are tracked separately: PSTN (phone calls) and INTERNAL or MEETINGS come from separate locations from Microsoft .
  • Requests for the participant IDs and call outcomes are done after the call is already on Amethyst. The details are in the .tagext files that are created and uploaded after the call is live.
  • We have seen that some of these update up to an hour after the call completed.
  • Phone numbers wil also update once the PSTN call details are retrieved.
