There are a couple of scenarios that can cause duplicate entries like this:
- When the facility to make a single recording the entire call from the point that the call enters the phone system until it leaves the phone system is enabled. And extension side recording is enabled. Then there may be a second recording for just the extension in question with a recording of the entire call.
- When two extensions are talking to each other and both are recorded, some phone systems generate separate recording for each extension and some not. This means that there may be a single recording for two agents and not two separate recordings. Our recording software makes a duplicated recording for internal calls where both parties are recording, to ensure that there is a recording for each.
- The Phone system can also reference the same internal recording reference from the phone system for multiple calls. Our software will then attempt to download this file for both recordings.
