# TNG 4\*: Auto update user names for extensions from PABX

This document refers to TNG for Asterisk.

**Requirements:**

FreePABX  
Sip Extension  
Username must be in the Asterisk Database for the SIP extension  
TNG version 1.0.7.3 or newer  
See forum post: TNG for Asterisk version 1.0.7.7 upgrade

_NOTE: all the above requirements must be in place. TNG will auto update the extension names from the Asterisk database to TNG._
